I still dig it, I think this looks 10x better than EVGA's, not as flashy as theirs but looks so much nicer!

I'm very tempted to buy one! Glad I held off the GTX 980TI

I give my thumb up to that. TF 5 had a great design. I'm glad they didn't completely change that.

first MSI card i have ever thought looks super epic tbh. its one of the ones that stand out from the crowd. not my favorite but still up there

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Yeah like said, why would you put RGB's on a red design. you only real options for matching is red, or white. Two colors that go great and aren't awkward are gained by the RGB's.

Although currently there is a "put RGB's on everything" phase.

I think the other thing to note is that it has an 8-pin and 6-pin power instead of the 8-pin you see elsewhere. I think the other thing to note is that it has an 8-pin and 6-pin power instead of the 8-pin you see elsewhere.

The MSI card and rbg would have definitely looked better if the card was all black and then rbg, now that would be sick as f*k.

Those are nice looking I must admit. Shame on those sheep that bought the founders edition. They will regret it, I'm betting almost 90%.

Only reason I'd buy a founders edition is to just resell it on eBay.

These look much better than EVGA's ACX 3.0 and the new Twin Frozr 6 is going to better than anything out there!

Wtf... It's the same design man.

Well my custom 980ti did look good but I wanted msi to do something different for the 1080

I really like how all the board partners have a different kind of look.  Gives us a really nice selection to chose from to match with our custom build =)

Blech, $650 for the EVGA ACX 3.0, $680 for the EVGA FTW. But the Asus Strix at $620 looks like a great deal, check out that pcb on it:

Nice.

It seems like EVGA is always over priced for the clock speeds you get.  Asus has always been a better value IMO, and Zotac usually has the highest factory OC. I wonder how long until we see reviews for all of these custom cards.
