HTC Vive or PSVR

Hi Guys.

 

Soon ill be buying a VR headset. Rift is out of the mix because it's just not good value.

 

So there's only two headsets left. The PSVR and the VIVE.

I've got both a PS4 and a VR-Ready PC, but if i buy the PSVR ill also need to buy the move-controllers and the ps-camera,

I know the PSVR hasn't been released yet so there aren't many people who have tried it.

 

PSVR: Pros:

- Price

- Interaction with your hands

- Battlefront game coming exclusively, and i like Star Wars.

 

PSVR: Cons

- No roomscale

- Worse graphical qualtiy than the VIVE and the Rift

- Ill need to buy pscamera and psmove controllers.

 

HTC Vive: Pros:

- Roomscale VR

- Interaction with your hands

- Graphical Quality is better than PSVR

 

HTC Vive: Cons:

- Takes a long time to setup

- Pricey

- Requires a large playspace.

 

So which VR headset would you choose. Vive?, PSVR ?or even the Rift?

Yep.

Lets not forget the PS4.5 is coming, who knows if you'll need that or not to get acceptable fps with PSVR.

So you can possibly factor in buying the new PS4 into your cost of the PSVR
