Need and upgrade?

CruxYo

I want to know if I should upgrade my psu and I want to know which brands manufacture reliable power supplies (good clean power, good components, durable, etc.). I have a 550w made by XFX, I got a i7 4790k and I want to upgrade to 1080.

Should be fine as long as it´s not a XFX XT.

550w is enough depending on the rest of your system and any cpu overclock you might have, if you're looking into a new unit use this chart.
