This makes the 1080 FE even a worse price to performance GPU.

Nobody should buy a crippled, overpriced card like the Founders edition.

It's not that bad tbh. People are forgetting that pricing works different in the UK and the US.

£482 is converted directly from US pricing which doesn't include tax.

£619 (now £635 on the OPs link) is the price with our stupidly high 20% tax on top.

 

Before tax I believe it's ~£530. Still a bit high, but not exactly out of this world. Even then, there's going to be more things driving up to that price (perhaps duty fees). So it's really not as bad as people think it is.
