I use Audio Techinca ATH-M50X as main headphones. I also have a pair of Sennheiser MX 365 ear buds for when I don't feel like messing my hair up.

At the moment I have a Asus DGX paired with Logitech z506, sound like crap compared to my Sennheiser 363D and Momentums but gets the job done for the most part.

I do have my mothers old (15 or so years) but high end HiFi gear, just need a DAC to get that hooked up for music.

Once I have the DAC I plan on getting a pair of Audioengine 5+ speakers.

Are you on SBAF? I see you're interested in the Superdupont mod :P @GamerDude

Cans:

- HiFiMan Edition X

DAC/AMP:

- Schiit Bitfrost Uber

Currently waiting on some sales before getting an amp, hoping to go to a local meet to make up my mind. Currently looking at the Lyr 2 :D Also one of the few people to have only one pair of cans, but I only listen to one genre and these do the job the best ^_^

Nice! Heard good things about the AKM AK4490 DAC used in the Bifrost, my HA-1 and Gustard X12 use the Sabre ESS9018 chip.....not sure what the hell chip is used in my Fostex HP-A4 though. How're you liking the HEX thus far? So loving my HEK, it's now my go to can for music, games and movies. The Bifrost is a dedicated DAC, so what are using as amp for now?

Not a member SBAF, though I do intend to join membership there when I feel like doing the SuperDupont mod which I'd actually heard of over at HF (if you're savvy enough to separate bullshit/hearsay/over-enthusiasm and just use your common sense, HF can be a place to get some useful info).

Love the HEX! Easily easily beat out all of my old cans (T1, HD800, LCD 2.2) :P It's really taken a toll on my sleeping habits! For right now I'm not using the Bitfrost at all, since I actually don't have a single amp to use it with. Not in a big rush though, as my onboard audio sounded better than the O2/ODAC (so the upgrade won't be earth shattering or anything)

and yeah, I've been over at HF for way longer than SBAF. Definitely a lot of nice reads, and a lot of the bs comments are pretty funny tbh :D

you can just use the O2 part in your combo that is what I am doing...

I mainly use my HE 560, but for rock and games I use my k612, the rest are for on the go use or something I just use once in a while, the money is not the worst part, the worst part is how much space they take up, my room is pretty small 8.4m2 so it is pretty cramped with a bed, table and all my headphones. xD

I do have yet another audio rig, my FX8350 rig which I'd simply forgotten to mention earlier :

Gustard X12 + H10 stack

Nakamichi HM200FD micro system (connected to my X12 via RCA interconnect cable

05_zpslo1vxofr.jpg

06_zps4inkdrvk.jpg

07_zpsflzcrcyy.jpg

Reason why I'd gotten the Nakamichi set was mostly due to the speakers. They're heavy (each is about 5kg)  and hit harder than my Rokit5, plus for ~152USD (converted from local $) I really can't complain. In addition to the mentioned DAC's, I'd also gotten a NuForce uDAC3 which I intend to use on my C2Q X9650 rig.....

Main Rig: AMD AM4 R9 5900X (12C/24T) + Tt Water 3.0 ARGB 360 AIO | Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme | 2x 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3600C16 | XFX MERC 310 RX 7900 XTX | 256GB Sabrent Rocket NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen 3.0 (OS) | 4TB Lexar NM790 NVMe M.2 PCIe4x4 | 2TB TG Cardea Zero Z440 NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4x4 | 4TB Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSD | 2TB Samsung 860 QVO SATA SSD | 6TB WD Black HDD | CoolerMaster H500M | Corsair HX1000 Platinum | Topre Type Heaven + Seenda Ergonomic W/L Vertical Mouse + 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G | iFi Micro iDSD Black Label | Philips Fidelio B97 | C49HG90DME 49" 32:9 144Hz Freesync 2 | Omnidesk Pro 2020 48" | 64bit Win11 Pro 23H2

My setup isn't really anything setup, and some would probably dislike me for using a sound card.

Corsair SP2500

Audio Technica ATH-AD2000x

both paired with a Xonar STX.

Oh, and a Samson Go microphone. And I'm waiting for a pair of Fostex TH-X00 Purpleheart that I bought from Massdrop. ETA is August for those :c
