Read the reviews!!  Scary.....

WD blacks are solid drives, there are always batches where some sort of testing went wrong with any product, but the item comes with 90 day returns (MORE than enough for a signficant stress test) and 5$ for to extend for 1 year warranty, and 10 for 2 year extended warranty.

How about no. As much as they're cheap, I would rather spend more on a brand new one and have a 5 year warranty.

Buying a refurb hard drive is like pouring gasoline all over yourself and sitting in an oven. Even if you don't go out in a spectacular blaze of glory, the temperature alone will do you in pretty quickly.

Horrible analogy.

Buying a refurb hard drive is like buying a used car. Sometimes its a good deal, sometimes its not, its up to how the other person used it, how you will use it, and how you cover yourself in off chance something goes wrong.
