HWMonitor temps, take it with a grain of salt?

libykim

I've been using HWMonitor to monitor the temperature of my PC.

Today, after playing a game, I noticed the TMPIN0 "max" temperature for my motherboard had 100*C at some point. However, the "Value" temperature was around 40 at the time.

Should I take seriously, or is it some kind of bug that HWMonitor has?

Software like that is always something to take with a grain of salt.

NEVER pay attention to the motherboard temps they are usually always wrong or unimportant. The only ones I trust are cpu and gpu temps.

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

Yeah, I guess I should pay too much attention to it.

Just now, when I was just browsing the web, the TMPIN2 max temp recorded hit 81*C... but the Value temp is at 35*C... that's quite bogus.

Thanks for the comments guys~

It because sensor on mobo is bit wonky. Value is current temp, max is spiking.
