Looking for Good CPU Cooler for less then 40 USD

I'm thinking about getting a new CPU Cooler so that I can increase my efficiency and my 2nd grade spelling. Any suggestions?

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo is very good for its price. $30 USD from Newegg.

yeah, most importantly your case, also important is the cpu socket you aim to mount it to

What CPU do you have? How much clearance for a heatsink does your case have? Are you overclocking? If so, by how much? What voltage? What's the maximum voltage and temperature you're willing to subject your CPU to?

 

Or I could just be the typical LTTer and recommend the Hyper 212 EVO, because that seems to be the go-to every time someone asks for a cooler without bothering to give us any more information.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
