Pascal Discussion Thread

Well now that it's released, might as well have a thread dedicated to it :)

Also when do you guys think Pascal Titan and 1080 Ti will come out, or not at all?

Also, why sell old cards? Use them for PhysX, then there'll be even MORE performance with the Pascal card :D

Yes, but ONLY in DX12 games, I don't think AMD cards can use PhysX either sadly...

1080Ti won't be released till 2017 and will be using HBM2 memory not GDDR5x memory. That's how nvidia works best cards are next year after release.

GTX 1080, 1070's pricing and performance seems like a hard blow to AMD.

True, but I wouldn't hold them to making a 1080ti.

Clock speed is one thing, actual real life performance is another !
AMD still has quite the edge software wise.
We'll have to wait for some impartial benches.

I'm going to get a 1080, but I might cancel the Oculus Rift I had been wanting the 1080 for in the first place. Still the 1080 should be great for an ROG Swift.
