Should we expect to see mitx sized GPUs from Pascal and Polaris?

So I was looking to get the GTX 970 mini Gigabyte but with Polaris and Pascal around the corner (June-ish)I've decided to wait. However, with specs leaks of the GTX 1070 and 1080 not using HBM 2.0 but rather GDDR5 or GDDR5X, do you guys think that we will see a mitx sized GPU at launch? Something that is similar in size as the mini GTX 970 and 960s from the like of Asus and gigabyte or the R9 Nano?

you could get the fury nano if you want the high performance that you would get from Polaris or pascal but it all depends on how patient you are
