I doubt it was them. But whoever is doing it I don't get the point. It isn't harming anything and CloudFare is doing a great job protecting the site.

Hackers targeting popular sites and companies for two purposes. One of them is steal personal identities and other is distribute malwares. Also, not only LizardSquad can DDOS websites, any hackers can do it.
