Well it is headline news, about a tech company. So no question that it belongs in the "tech news" category. Also you say, "guidelines spirit"... What? What does that have to do with it being tech news? Yeah it is up setting, doesn't mean it belongs in a different section, does it?

Wow, I never meant any ill will by my post. I also wasn't insinuating suicide is funny. I was just making an Apple hate joke on a PC building forum.

It is not news about a tech company, it is news about a single employee in a tech company. Right now there is not enough information to make this a discussion about apple, and the conversation so far agrees with that assessment.

We are not saying that the topic is not fit for discussion, but a topic that does not contain news relating to a general technology, a company or its products (or an individual of importance in the tech community ) does not belong in the tech news section.
