Hey guys, 

I am crazy all about conspiracy theories, the illuminati, freemasons, anything like that :)

I was just wondering what your opinions are on conspiracy theories and if you know any good youtube channels or actual conspiracy theories :)

Crazy as in "I find this intersting" or crazy as in "The government is being run by lizard people *puts on tinfoil hat*"?

 

My opinion on consipracy theories will depend on the theory. I think ´theories´ like the whole NWO/Illuminati thing is silly as all hell. 

The same thing goes for thing like the government staging school shootings or chemtrails (or the newest iteration: Southern Snow).

 

However, theories like the one surrounding the Gulf of Tonkin Incident may have something to them, but chances are that there isn't anything to it. 

 

For YouTube channels you could just go to InfoWars/TheAlexJonesChannel. That is your one-stop-shop for all the tinfoil-hattery your little heart desires.

If you want something a bit more critical (but still something you should take with a grain of salt), there is AllTimeConspiracies.

 

And if you want to go off the deep end of the deep end there is the Vigilant Christian.

That dude gives a bad name to both conspiracy theorists and religous people.

Some of the government cover-up conspiracies might have some truth.

 

99% of scientific conspiracies (chemtrails, HAARP and any BS you find on naturalnews.com) are fake.

The biggest one is the conspiracy to reduce accessibility of tinfoil by replacing it with aluminum foil thus preventing people from having effective foil hats.

I like the idea of them - that JFK's assassination was an inside job, the moon landing was faked, we have proof of aliens, etc etc.

 

most are prob just BS.  However, I also believe that in every good story there's a grain of truth...so how knows?!?! o.O

The Soviet Union was watching the moon landing and the entire way through. If it was to be covered up, the US would have had to pay them trillions of dollars to not reveal the truth, and I don't think the entirety of Russia today looks like downtown Dubai.

 

However, aliens I would have to agree with. Even just out of common sense, there is no way that we are the only "intelligent" life in the entire universe.

I don't see why the JFK assassination would be an inside job, though.

 

As much as I disagree with a lot of conspiracy theories, I am really interested to hear what people say and think.

Conspiracies theories are interesting to think about, at the least, even if you don't believe in them. :)

 

I don't have any particular channel or whatnot to suggest, but I'd also be interested in knowing. I know people who are in the Scientology church/cult that admit to the things people think about their "religion" and there are even ex-members who have written books or star in tv shows talking about their experiences with it. And the Freemasons? Nothing but the underlings.

Conspiracies are conspiracies.  Theories are theories.

 

Sounds simple, right?  Keep the two separated and you will be fine.

 

"Conspiracy theory" has a negative connotation for a few reasons:

 

Some people make up some shitty stories loosely based on evidence(usually misinterpreted):  Hello God, it's me.  =P

 

Propaganda from authoritative bodies, corporations and a sub culture of parroting citizens contribute to the propagation of falsehoods under the guise that their viewpoint is relevant to the truth, or even to (of course) cover up the details of a particular incident or situation:  Planes hit towers, towers fall.  See!  The planes did it.

I did say most are bs lol. Look up the JFK one, apparently theorist think it was an inside job/cover up because many in the government didn't like the direction he was going policy wise.

 

Aliens I'm half/half on it. The odds we're the only planet with intelligent life out there is ridiculously slim. But it is also weird we are the most intelligent since if a race was more advance - why not hear from them yet? At the very least radio signals would be possible. Who knows!??!? *puts on tin foil hat*

True. but i am talking about all those people on YouTube who are self proclaimed "experts" and say they have built a perpetual motion machine. If they were experts they would go in the pursuit of the most efficient machine possible not in the pursuit of perpetual motion.

Government does run fail to safe mass experiment on crowds & do collect data on a large scale & analyze data based on politics, no conspiracy on that, actually happening

 

new conspiracy spinning around is that every communication device is tagged can be backtracked, including motherboards with a bios/hardware level backdoor
