SSD with hard drive mass storage what happens

Theerix

If i have a 60gb ssd in my system with a 2tb hard drive, will the ssd fill up first then start storing info to the harddrive? Would it be the other way around? Or would they both be used at the same time?

NEVER GO WITH THAT SMALL OF A C: DRIVE, YOU WILL HATE YOURSELF, ok with that out of the way, no thats not how it works, you have to select were things are stored and thats a huge pain usiually. things like spotify dont allow you to chose were they install so you have to move the installer and steam will have its defult library on your C: drive so you have to make a new one on the HDD

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I'd suggest only keeping Windows on the SSD since it's a very small one, you may have issues with that down the road.

Other than that you'll assign a drive letter to the other drive like normal and whenever you install software onto your PC just remember to change the drive letter to whichever one you assigned to your mass storage drive in the installation process. Be aware that you'll most likely have to do an advanced install on most software because that's the only way to have it allow you to change the installation location.
