Best Price To Performance GPU for $200 CAD?

Hotpeppa1

pretty much that, the 750Ti

the next best performance per dollar would be r9 380, which is way above $200

the best price to performance card is the r9 390, which is waaaaaay above $200 lolol

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

If you can find a 950 for that range.. they go on sale sometimes around that.  Otherwise if you feel like going the used route I quite frequently see  680's or 770's go for around $200 CAD

my work in progress

i5 6600k  //  16gb g.skill ddr4 3000  //  evga gtx 980

A 950 is a little bit faster, but also a little over $200.  If that's your absolute max you have available to spend a 370 is acceptable.

I don't know what your area is like but in that price range I would really consider at least looking at something used, because that could significantly increase the performance you're able to buy.

This one's barely below $200 and will game competently at 1080p.

Although if you can look for something used a'la Scrapyard Wars you'd be getting better bang for buck.

Here's a small list of GPUs better than the 950:

GTX

670 and better

770 and better

580

Radeon

7870, 7950, 7970

5970 (power hungry)

If you can get any used for less than $200 you win!

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
