Connecting the gamepad is possible though I believe the libraries are still in development however Nintendo still wont sell you a replacement gamepad without you buying an entire console so unless you already own a Wii U its just not feasible.

I run Dolphin and it's amazingly stable. Only ever had it crash once. I tried to overload it as best I could for a test and well......  You can guess what happened....

On another note I can't wait to see this thing when it's git a stable release! Love emulators and am just wishing Citra would get these people on it to speed up the 3DS emulation considering that the cpu/gpu in it is really difficult to figure out.

Really wish that Cemu would release v1.4 on their site though. I really want to try it out.

I still remain more optimistic for RPCS3, because that's been showing the most progress as of late, and once again it's open source.

 

 

 

 

Still though, one thing I do consider interesting is some of the parallels between this and UltraHLE. UltraHLE was made when the N64 was still commercially available, and could run SOME games at full speed. It was also closed source. But as time and hardware marched on, there were better low-level emulators out there, and UltraHLE was dropped.
