The most overkill or unbalanced PC setups you have seen?

What PC setups/builds have you seen that are either overkill for the intended purpose or very unbalanced

Take me for example, i recently received a 980 Ti from NVIDIA and i am rocking a 10 year old Dell Monitor that is not even 1080p. On the other hand, i am going to be using the card more for folding than gaming.

On facebook, there was someone selling their PC in a pc part group and they were asking 1500 pounds for it, i7 4930k, 32GB of ram, asus extreme something mobo, 5 SSDs (2 1tb, 1 500gb and can't remember the rest of it...), ax1200i PSU I think then we come to the GPU...a 260x...

I was rocking dual GTX 970s paired with a pentium G3258. It was just for couple of days until I gave the second GPU to it's final owner, but a 970 and a g3258 are pretty unbalanced if you ask me.

PC parts picker says it's not compatible cuz i chose a 32 bit OS with 32 GB of ram, it will work but only 4gb of ram wil be usable........basically makes it more cringeworthy

Idk if "Overkill" is the word for it but "Unbalanced" fits pretty well imo.

I ran my old i7 920 rig with a 6800gs for 2 months whilst my card was in for rma. Little beast ran with a 75% (700mhz from 400mhz) overclock until the last 3 days before my rma was returned it finally died from the overclock abuse
