U know because of the big guys in the tech industry going ape shit at the head of microsoft ,, probably caused them to give us consumers the big FUCK YOUU and thats why they cancled fable and closed down 2 gaming studios making people jobless

Yes, but what about older games and game doesn't support DirectX  12.

but aparently amd and nvidia got pissed aswell because the games from the microsoft store arent .EXE   they are another thing, so it means u cant use steam overlays, you cant go into your gpu control pannel and change stuff

 

you basicaly cant do much but play the game..

ahh whats it called

 

quantum break is only being released on the windows store

 

the next forza is geting released on the windows store and also the first gears of war game on pc that came out a few days ago is on the windows store

No fullscreen support ... no modding support... is why people are pissed off. It basically a game on mobile with little customization.

Just because a game supports DX12 does not mean they have any support for more advanced rendering modes like explicit/implicit multi-GPU support.  Neither are these features driver level features, they have to be specifically coded into each and every game engine if the developers want you to have i t.

i was hoping microsoft was doing this with pressplay studios

 

i asked them about dx12 but they didnt seem to sure

DX12 supports Multi GPUs,  but it takes a lot more time to include that feature and because of that most games won't support it.

 

The App store games a basically straight XBox ports so that feature isn't enabled,  the same reason why there is no SLI or Crossfire support. 

 

Don't buy an AMD card and a Nvidia cards for DX12,  buy a single faster card or 2 of the same model and SLI/crossfire it.

Microsoft says that SLI/Crossfire support is supported. The game need to to implement it to have it (as expected).
