Largest storm ever in the Southern Hemisphere hits Fiji...will AMD send aid?

Tropical Cyclone Winston hit Fiji Saturday night.  So far the death toll is up to 42 individuals.  With AMD naming their latest architecture Fiji, will they send any monetary aid to the hard hit island nation?  I have a friend in the Peace Corp. currently assigned to a small village in Fiji and she said that her village along with so many others have been largely destroyed.

You can donate to the Australian Red Cross if you have the means and the desire.  There are other charities out there as well, but do your research as I'm afraid some sites have been created to take advantage of this situation.

Um actually they ditched the arctic islands for the stars! They packed up for Polaris and are gonna get there this year! After that I think they are heading for Vega.

AMD is the next generation of star travel I tell ya!

I just hope Polaris isn't too hot (pun intended).

As sad as this news is, it isn't tech news and the tie-in with AMD was a bit farfetched. I mean countless companies and/or products share names or are named after existing/real things (Fiji being one) and they have no obligation towards the other.
