rfactor

assetto corsa.

 

 

NOW WE JUST NEED FORZA EVERYTHING PORTED TO PC, NOT JUST STUCK ON FUCKING XBOX.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

Not sure it was shite as i have only seen on youtube and twitch. After doing so I realised its not going to o be the legendary Underground 2 that everybody played. :(

I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I expected a mix between Underground, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and Most Wanted. Instead I got extremely stupid cops, hard to see open world (f*cking dark, blurry, and visually busy. I'd like it if they allowed me to constantly make it sunset or early morning... but no beans), a cringy storyline (it's entertaining at least), extremely difficult races (went from 'damn this is easy' to 'fuck this shit' in about 3 races), the annoying as fuck 'crash cam' or whatever that can't be disabled, etc..

 

I hope the modding community will address some of these complaints... especially the always-night thing... I really hate that.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

I bought this game for my PS4 during their EA sales ($19)

While it setup and car modification is good, the control and handling feels super awkward and difficult, plus you always need to be online just to play singleplayer mode pisses me

NFS:Rivals had a FPS cap that was tied with the game engine so if you increased the limit it would make the game go faster.

I feel like the entire racing game genre is set to implode in the near future.

Its soo sad when you back to a game THAT old and the graphics are better than you might have thought and the gameplay and features are leaps and bounds over the current games.
