What's the motherboard exactly?  I ask because some have poor placements of x8/x16 lanes.

390 would be bottlenecked in CPU intensive games with the i3-4170. 380X MAX.

Okay, that's not going to block anything.  Um, what's your budget and location?  I'm pretty sure you can go up to like a 390 or higher depending on location and your budget.

I dont know the cost of the gpu yet. But my budget probably below 50USD. Philippines.

50USD here is not going to get you anything impressive unless maybe you hit a jackpot on a used item.  2195.75 PHP would be 50 USD converted.  So, like below 2100ish?

 

As I said, nothing impressive.

 

Hit up ebay for like a 260-270x, or other used places.  Used is probably your best option.  You could also look for like a used 660-660ti.  Maybe a used 750-750ti.

That GPU is literally worse than the iGPU of everything.

Yeah, you should go with an used one. Just try to get the best you can.

Just use the HD4600 in your i3 until you can afford a graphics card.

I've just bought a second hand R9 280x that should be here tomorrow to go with my 4170. I did as much research as I could and seemed to be the best price point with very little bottle necking on the CPU. Its my secondary rig anyways so I'm not expecting high end gaming from either the CPU or GPU.

You do not want a AMD GPU with a dual-core unless the issues have been resolved? Does anyone know if it still work bad with dual-cores? :)
