ESET is the best AV I've used.

I have used paid versions of Norton, AVG as well as free AV like MSE and Avast.

I am currently in there beta program and have yet to find a more efficient AV with such a small system footprint.

Note: All of the above are always complemented by MBAM, my preferred anti-malware.

I sell Eset Nod32 in a package with Walwarebytes pro at my store. I really enjoy Eset Nod32. Norton and McAfee have really let us down over the years.

Why is that?

If you know what you're doing on the Internet, I don't see the need for AV

Common sense 2013 coupled with MSE/Windows Defender is easily the best free AV.

If I already have Avast Antivirus do I need a third-party firewall or another security program like SuperAntiSpyware? Or is a simple Antivirus enough?

No, Avast, AVG, MSE, etc. and some common sense is fine.

Edit: I run malwarebytes sometimes, but nothing ever comes up.

This. And for extra security MSE is more than you need. You shouldn't need a heavy program just to defend your computer from mistakes that could have been avoided by you.

If you love what you do, it's not work.

Refer to what I said here:

I just want to point out to everyone who said no,you don't need an AV, there is this thing called an iFrame.

I'm not going to explain it all, if you're interested, here are some links

Framing

iFrames

But basically, iFrames can actually be used to load viruses and other stuff onto your computer, and even if you use common sense, and don't download anything, you can still get a virus just by visiting an infected webpage.

Here's a walk through on what you can actually do with an iFrame of course, the flaw was patched.

I beg to differ.

And so do I
