Found old PC, can i use it for a server?

I found an old dell optiplex mini and i was wondering if i could use it as a server,

 

specs;
processor: ??

ram: 2gb ddr2

 

thats all i really know, it can store away easily under my desk

 

As server i mean maybe minecraft but mostly teamspeak

Probably not. 2GB of RAM is pretty weak. You'd want 4GB at least. Depends, Teamspeak server should be good.

It should be fine, you might want to add more RAM.

Although, I did recommend to someone else that old PCs can make pretty good doorstops.

Yeah just add more RAM and you should be good.

You can spec it out by determining the model number of the case... or booting it up and installing speccy...

If it's a mini with DDR2, I'm guessing it's got something from a Pentium D all the way to a Core2 Quad depending on the model number on the case...

It should be good as a home file/media/web server... not sure about minecraft or teamspeak though...

minimum 4 gb of ram,If you want to see the processor name type dxdiag and see the processor name.
