Can someone explain how they can fit 128GB of memory on that thing? Yes, i know it is 2016 and technology has evolved like a bird taking a sh*t every 2 seconds...

There are micro SD cards that store 256GB out there. This, although impressive, is par for the course for removable storage recently.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

the same way as they put it on an SD card.

 

the packaging is basicly the pcb and silicon housing, and with stroage chips becoming smaller and smaller they lose the need for an "usb stick" to still have a "stick" on the "usb"

 

this tech has existed for a long time and used to be extremely unreliable, its nice to see it improve and slowly become the norm tho.

WD bought sandisk cant rememder for how mutch tho

HyperX/Kingston has a usb drive the smae size as a normal one that is 1tb.
