HDD not being recognized by the BIOS

I originally have a Segate 1 tb hybrid drive installed with a copy of windows 10 install in my parent's computer and it worked perfectly fine.

Long story short, my dad basically fell for the Windows Scammer's scam and I decided to get a new Segate 1tb (mech) HDD and install Linux Mint Cinnamon and remove the hybrid with windows 10 on it. As I connected the new HDD the Bios will not recognize the drive and when I tried reconnecting the hybrid with Windows, it will not recognize it as well.  The Fun part is that the BIOS recognizes the disc drive and the disk drive share the same power cable as the HDD (s).

Does anyone know how to get the Bios to recognize the HDD again?

Spec list:

Please note that I know that 750 watts is overkill, but at that point of time, New egg had it cheaper than a 500 watt supply.

The drive has been system restored to a point before the scammer installed anything. Also, the computer was unplugged from the wall during mid something.

see if any other PC will detect it, if you have some near you that you can borrow for a bit.

I have my personal PC. I may try accessing it with my Lap top with the USB adapter.

Shake the hard drive. JK (don't that could kill it). try with a different sata cable and port.

I've done that multiple times and with different cables. Even with the one the disk drive is connected too.

up date, I connected both HDDs to the USB adapter and the drives will not turn on what so ever. does that mean that they are both dead?

When they turn on, are they making a clicking noise? If so, they are getting power, but have failed. If they aren't making any noise, either they are completely dead, or they don't have enough power to turn on completely.

No movement what so ever. The Adapter is designed to clone a HDD onto a new HDD and that won't even turn on the HDD.
