The 9 represents the size and 16 the year if release. Of course this is still in the concept stages. This is gonna be bigger than the primo (which is massive) and is likely gonna be the new flagship

This will support up to two systems atx and mini itx, its unconfirmed if you can fit a rad in the separated compartment or what colours it comes in.

Don't like it. Phanteks need to stick with what they know; conventional modular cases both better and cheaper than their competitors.

I like what they've done with it. It's got hints from quite a few cases but you can still tell its a Phanteks. I'm interested on how they're gonna price it and how it stacks up against the 900d and even some of the caselabs cases

I think the Phanteks 916 can fit a 480 up top and a 360 in the front, im not sure if you can fit a rad in the basement though

no but this is not the size of the 904 this is the size of the 909 which i bet could fit two itx motherboards in their (modded yes but you could still fit two)

 

IMO it looks better than InWin's....

The plus is the watercooling support the phanteks case has 

again the one your looking at is the 904 which is much smaller than this phanteks case the 909 which is closer to the size of it can fit 280 in front 280 in the bottom a 120 in the back and a 420 in the very back

whats wrong with io on the side i have found it very convenient as i usually have my pc on my desk next to me

again much bigger than that inwin case its more comparable in size to the 909

I hate to invite this sort of disaster upon myself, but I actually think Thermaltake does better modular designs. Mind you they do obviously rip off from CaseLabs, but having the quad radiator options is awesome.

I've seen enough people break USBs by having the I/O on the side to not ever trust it. It would be one thing as an actual desktop and not a tower below monitor height, but come one no one's using that as a desktop case.

I'll be honest.  If I ever bought a case of that size - I'd put it on my desk.  I'd get a desk -just- for it, and then put it on it.  Actually I'm doing that right now with an old CM-HAF.  Got a desk just for it.  Gotta love Ikea Galant's.  Three of 'em.  Need to update.
