How to get Secret/Hidden Steam Badge! **NO LONGER WORKING**

       Here is a secret badge you can attain on Steam.
 
       → Instructions: ←
       1 - Log in into Steam on your browser
       2 - Visit the Ikaruga Store page:http://store.steampowered.com/app/253750
       3 - Type SEARCH on your Keyboard than press ENTER
       4 - A textbox should appear. Use code 1v7531
       All credit for finding and spreading this goes to /r/steamsaledetectives
       Check this Summary: http://imgur.com/a/AVJe7
       PS - If it doesn't work, try another browser. I couldn't get it to work on Chrome, but Firefox worked just fine.

Just type "serach" when you are on the Ikarugu page

Worked great for me using Firefox.

 

I don't think this is the only one though as its called Red Herring.

Got it, forgot I reset Chrome and wasn't logged in.

Tried with Firefox and a fresh install of Chrome, it isn't working for me. Not sure what you guys are doing.

you have to be logged into your steam account on the website using chrome. Go to the ikaruga page, and simply type the word search without clicking on anything, hit enter, enter the password in the dialog box, and the badge is yours

Just a heads up--it won't work on the ingame browser, I tried it yesterday. However, it should work with pretty much every legitimate browser...

The title is misleading, you said, "secret". "Hidden" is more accurate.

No, I did this myself, and I got 100XP for free

Just sign into the web page with your steam account, else you get a blank page that just says "null"

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!
