x99 deluxe vs sabertooth

im planning on upgrading my rig to the x99 platform and i want it to be reliable because i want this to last at least 5 years and i want it to be a solid board with no issues so here are the rest of the specs

5820k

noctua nhd15s

16gb kingston hyperx ram

gtx 980ti msi lightening edition

corsair ax860i (possibply changing to coolermaster to v850)

fractal design r5

i want this rig to last, i do plan to overclock to 4ghz and im going to be doing gaming, video and photo editing, and encoding movies to watch

i dont think ill be using the wifi on the deluxe board, but i do plan on going to lans and if i must ill use the wifi

but what would you guys reccomend for reliability and stability?

youshould be able to get around 4.3 4.6 GHz out of that CPU if your lucky 4.6, average is around 4.2-4.5.  Most of the boards will offer extreemly similar performance so.

i am aware of that, but im not comfortable with overclocking, i know its better now but i prefer not to if its not needed, and im going to be running straight air cooling for little to no maintenance

sabertooth will last you 20 years j/s

ive heard a lot of reviews saying how reliable it was but i wanted people opinions and such, but atm im going for the sabertooth because it is cheaper and the only draw back is the wifi which im not to worried about

Reliability wise Sabertooth as it is a really military grade mobo

But Feature wise deluxe as it has a lot of really good features. Plus if you are only using this rig for 5 years I say deluxe will be way more worth the cash. I am sure it should hold up for a lot of years. Plus you get decent sound, wifi, and many other useful features

Both boards are good, just get the one that you like. Keep in mind, on the Sabertooth, when a card is installed into the 3rd x16 slot, M.2 will get disabled.

I am using a 5820k (4.6@1.3v) with full custom watercooling. The board looks better IRL than in any pic. And its cool, and has OK features[emoji6]
