and i have a 700$ asus tablet + keyboard that my dad bought, and he dosent use it.

 

one other thing is that i hate ios.

I would have preferred to use an iPad instead of a laptop in school. iPad's are light and slim and work perfectly for text books - navigating PDF versions of textbooks on Dell notebooks is horrible.

I ended up taking my iPad to class, using that for textbooks and then writing everything by hand. At the end of the day, all assessments were hand written.

Why don't you ask your teacher or whoever if you can bring your own in and connect it to the school network? We thought of have the same transition entering my school, and all they're used for is the internet which android is fine for. The only thing I would say is you will have to take responsibility if it's lost/stolen/damaged, with $700 of tablet if you can't secure that I'd say just live with learning to use an iPad. It's better than textbooks right?

and in age 18 i must go to the army and fight for my nation 

i dont say it harder to live in israel than some country in africa.

but its not as easy as living in the u.s , canda or australia

We are suppose to get iPads but that will just turn into hell because if we break it we have to pay some of it but we have to take it. First time giving it to us but my favorite part is we get the iPad 1 ok not bad but I am going into ninth and we have to keep it until we are seniors the iPad one 8GB probably. Ya not happy at all by then tech will be so different that's 4 years with the oldest ipad.

Why is that sad? in 6th grade we used intel atom classmates with like 512 mb of ram. We lost like 1 period a day to fix network problems lol

Sounds cool to me, however they really should let you use your own if you wish. Im not a apple fan and probably would never buy there products but will admit they sell some pretty cool stuff. I wouldn't buy a IPAD but if someone gave me one id totally use it! or sell it and get a nexus 10 >_> <_<.

 

Everything aside if im correct i believe buying ipads in bulk is actually relevantly cheap, a technician friend of mine said its cheaper in his school to throw out a ipad then repairing it due to bulk buying

Tablets blow non-touch screen notebooks out of the water in regards to textbooks. I still prefer paper books myself. (but I have not reached tertiary levels of education.)
