Why is that sad? in 6th grade we used intel atom classmates with like 512 mb of ram. We lost like 1 period a day to fix network problems lol

I had to use a laptop in the beginning. But my class moved to a small room, then I bought myself a galaxy tab 2 :)

The ipad isn't all that bad. I still prefer having a laptop during class though. I can type so much faster.

I've been using my phone in class for some time now. (SGS4) At first I got into trouble (I kinda expected this) but I'm in my last year and the teachers are almost like friends now. I put all my homework reminders, random notes etc. in Keep and write up all of my assignments on Drive as well as read books on well, Books.

Relax it was 2 years ago now i will go to 9th grade

Nope wasnt that it was some kind of windows xp blue themed laptop with an atom. Definetly not 1333mhz ram

In my opinion the only good things Apple makes are the iPads and the screens on there macbooks.

When taking notes, I'd rather use a windows tablet. It's a lot better for productivity.

Not a fan of IOS or Android for note taking.

Although the ipad onscreen keyboard is pretty good.

 

But I can see your frustration, having to buy another tablet when you already have one.

Haha when I was at school we weren't even allowed laptops, as hard as it is to admit, I think it is a bad idea... I have already noticed my spelling and grammar take a nose dive because of things like spell check, I would have been far too distracted by them as well.

Same here.

I find it hard to write sometimes because it has been that long since I last used a pen.

 

I kind of fear the future a bit.

I prefer iPad because I have an app that lets me write on PPTs, PDFs, and Word documents with a stylus.
