Yes? Under full load the GPU core can easily get into the 80c range (and will probably idle around 30-40c).

cause it is the most heat producing component in my system

Would probably be the same for every gaming machine in existence :P

QUOTE ME IN A REPLY SO I CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION!

it would be nice to quantify what you qualify as "a lot of heat".

Typically you can do this through empirical measurements, such as temperature readings.

Usually when people ask this, they are unfamiliar with how hot components get to the touch.

well gpu isn't overheating, but when you touch window panel on h440 you feel the heat. if you take the panel off and you put your hand in you feel it really warm

You've got nothing to worry about. Just check your system temps every now and then with HWMonitor or something similar.

After you created the thread, you posted something else saying "especially the backplate."  And then later, you're talking about how much heat it's producing and then state in another post that it's not overheating...etc.

I'm not saying you did anything wrong at this point, but I don't want anyone getting in the habit of just posting. I want as much information as possible contained in a single post. If another one doesn't need to be created in order to further an idea, I'd rather not see another one created.

Sorry this is mostly off-topic, but is that a custom desk you have made there in your avatar picture? It looks amazing and have been thinking about making something similar myself, any chance you could email me the sketchup model/s?

In an attempt to cut back on unnecessary forum posts you have now added four (well, now five) extra posts that otherwise would not have existed thereby making the thread 35% longer than it needed to be ;)
