If you plan on gaming this is what you'd want to go with- then pick up the OS off reddit for around 30$. This PC will kick games ASS.

Spoiler

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

That will need some work:

1-The power supply is awfully overkill, get a 600W unit.

2-You are spending a load on fans that already included in cases nowadays

3-The fx 8350 is not a good gaming CPU get a i5 6400

4-You can get a r9 380 at this price, why are you getting a r7 370?

Get a B2 or G2 power supply the NEX B isn't that great.

The R9 fury costs short of 40 dollars and easily beats the 980.

Try getting skylake in this build

Needs a SSD at this price

The FX is more than good enough for gaming, it's just that Intel has much better single-core usage and that is what most games use.

Thats the issue sadly, it gets outperformed by the i5.

A 650W power supply would be sufficient for this build and try getting a i5 since he will use it for gaming, the FX should be a streaming consideration.

Hmm could use a more power CPU in some situations but is still good.

The R9 fury should beat the 980 at a really close price as well.

The i5-4460 is a very solid CPU and will not be bottlenecking the 980ti. Unless OP desperately needs to overclock than this CPU / MOBO / GPU combo is perfect.

That was just a streamlined version of his.

Games like CS:GO and GTA V are a bit CPU depended but your right the i5 4460 will hold fine.

The i5-4460 will have no problems in either of those games, especially CS:GO.

I looked at what you guys were saying and decided to make my budget $100 more so that I could get stuff like water cooling and a skylake processor.

The H100i is on the overkill side for your i5 6600k. A H80 or h55 might be good enough.

You don't need any extra case fans, they come included with the case.

Also don't get the Asus cooler, it has a tendency to overheat. MSI and sapphire do a better job with the r9 390.

You could save a few bucks and go with an h80i. You don't really need any more fans. Luke already proved that going beyond two fans doesn't make a huge difference anymore. If you really want so save bucks you could cut down to a 120gb ssd, but it really looks fine. Happy building!
