If I were to build a tank, what tank would you want me to build?

Jack.EXE

Of course, would not build them to milspec, just a tube frame with aluminum paneling and treads, that looks like the tank from the outside.

but the question remains, what tank to model after?

I'm currently leaning towards the T-44, as seen in World of Tanks (Late WWII russian tank), but I'm not rock solid...

My grandfather is a railroad engineer, and my dad has already helped me come up with a system to power it, but all that stands is deciding on which tank to make and saving up for the materials.

KV-5 is the stonkest tank. Make a model out of that.

Or if I'm being serious. and if you want something more simple with fewer edges. E-75, E-100?

A Panzer VIII Maus. Becuase says awesome like a tank that would cause buildings to crack just by driving past them.

In what scale are you building it?

Well, it's all talk right now, but I'm hoping 1:1, litterally want a tank to drive around.

maybe too new, might be hard to get blueprints for

Might be able to get away with the M60A1 though.

I wouldn't do 1:1. Make it small enough so that you can lift up the rear of the tank so that you can sit in the back of it. Even something like the T-44 is 6 meters long, over 3 meters wide, and almost 2 and a half meters high.

I would make it either half scale, or 1/3.

My favourite tanks are the Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausführung D and the Jagdpanzer 38t aka Hetzer.

Jagtiger! Jagdtiger! Jagdtiger!

... or the Jagdpanzer E100, that's good too.

I like the Jagdtiger. Jadgpanzer E100 would be more cost efficient though, because it is a pure paper project and paper is cheaper than steel #shotsfired.

I'm not looking to make a toy, I literally plan to build a tank to drive on US streets, make it street legal.

'cause I can.
