I hope for a FreeSync "fix" for low refreshrate, FreeSync over HDMI (maybe to much to hope for?). Else than that there isn't really much else I can think of than more performance and more bugfixes.

It will not happen... freesync has to use the new DP standart, that has everything build into it, never going to be a part of HDMI.

They have already demonstrated it over HDMI 1.4a a while ago.

Although it makes sense for them to maybe push for getting a native implementation in HDMI instead of just relying on custom firmware in the monitors

Happens in Windows 8.1 as well.  It has happened since 15.7 came out, none of the previous versions have this issue.  It only occurs with 290s and 390s with 2 or more 1440p monitors. 

 

It is so retardedly specific that only a handful of people have seen/reported it.  No acknowledgement from AMD.

 

I've just been using my iGPU for my second monitor, this has its own issues but nothing like the above

Always happy to get more performance and more features with new drivers. AMD drivers have been really good lately (for me anyways) and that's with a crossfire setup which usually brings other issues of it's own to the surface. Haven't seen any of that lately. I wouldn't mind if they added 4k VSR support for Hawaii GPUs (currently max is 3200 x 1800).

I'm using DVI to my main 1080p display. ;) Still only goes up to 3200 x 1800. 

 

On AMD's VSR support chart it states: 3840 X 2160 (AMD Radeon™ R9 285, AMD Radeon™ R9 380 and AMD Radeon™ R9 Fury Series)​ <-- 4k VSR support for only those GPUs. I don't understand why this is. They allow it on the less powerful Tonga cards but not the Hawaii cards? Doesn't make sense.

I figured. It's just odd that Hawaii's can drive a 4k display just fine but can't run a game at 4k that is downsampled to 1080, yet can do it at 3200 x 1800. *scratches head*

Just normal internet use is fine even on a 250X

 

Oh, I was talking about gaming. The Windows desktop I run at native 1080 (any higher and everything gets kinda small, lol) but most games I run at 1440 with VSR.

Well - SC2 should be doable on a 370 if you ask me.

Random driver crashes too... i hope AMD fixes this in omega drivers in win 10 with 15.9.1
