Omega driver 2.0 from AMD coming in November – Will Include Significant Updates to Catalyst

Mr_Troll

well tbh. I didn't get most of the omega benefits, even to thus day. :/ still can't get VSR on. Still if it allows the cards to perform better why the heck not?

Damn, they're supporting CUDA 2.0? That's impressive for an AMD product...

I JUST WANT THEM TO FIX THIS.

Update drivers? I know there's already 15.9.1

IMHO: The only problems I've ever had with AMD drives was directly related to corrupt windows installations. That is all.

Do you know how to enable it in CCC? Once you do that, you should see the extra resolutions (higher than native) show up in the in-game graphics settings. Also, what card are you running?

I thought that Omega was meant to be the last big driver update, because Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet.

Clearly that isn't the case. Hopefully it's going to be good!

Sig under construction.

I'm on 15.10, this issue has persisted since 15.7 and did not exist in any previous version

Wow, triple post. lol. How'd you pull that off? ;):P

It's in CCC under "My digital plat panels" > "Properties".  Check the box that says: Enable GPU up-scaling and Enable virtual super resolution. If you have multiple monitors, make sure you check those options for both displays. ;)

urge its chrome data savings on my phone I think >¬>

yea the option isn't there. I uninstalled used DDU even a clean install did nothing to show the option. :/ granted I'm running it at 1440p and won't be able to get decent frame rates with current triple a titles but I would like to try it in games like TF2/L4D2 just for kicks. :/

You're using 1440p monitor?

Anyway you can try some registry hack to enable it.

Yup, GCN 1.0 only support VSR up to 1440p and either 1720p or 1620p with registry hack last time.

I have read somewhere that it is coming out on the 24th. Can't remember where though so don't take it as gospel.
