I once tried to make a mug out of gorilla glue and DDR2 sticks. That should tell you how worthless DDR is.

Build a retro computer. Maybe start looking for some 3Dfx cards.

Whatever, i ain't even mad. I just want to get rid of them. Anybody doing a Pentium 3 build  :)  LMAO ?!!!

I've already got 2GB of DDR1 400MHz ram and a 512mb stick of ddr1, I don't have a use for any more 

Check if there are groups that give out free computers in your area, maybe they can use it?

 

I'm also jelly, my school won't spare a single computer out of the what, 100 of them they have in their back room?

I make games and stuff in my spare time.

The RAM sticks can be used for spare parts, or just collecting, its not like collectors are going to use these RAM sticks in normal computers

 

There is a huge following for old servers/computers, and these RAM sticks could be used as spare parts, or just to collect

 

And with historical value, i mean that collectors often want to know the history behind the parts/computers, like shown in the video LGR is happy that it came with a log book, explaining what the servers have gone through

 

 

Although maybe DDR1 memories arent old enough to have any real demand yet

I'm not denying that, I'm just wondering who would want 256MB sticks when they could easily find 512 and 1GB sticks. And IIRC P4 is the earliest CPU to support DDR1 so it's not even that old/rare/wanted.

I legit have "performance" DDR1 that has a blue PCB with the seal that it is Koren Memory with some make shift gold colored cooler. So pimpin

Try setting them on fire to recover some gold

You typically use chemicals to extract the gold, I've never heard of using fire before

If you want them as a keyring it won't be free? Probably what's going to happen. And you can either pony up some money (and guarantee a keyring) or you can get in line and wait until no one else wants one. I doubt anyone would be collecting those , considering how cheap they are . You could litteraly pick up an old desktop at a garage sale for like 5$ and get some.
