So i've decided it's time to name my PC (i'll still accept names for my laptop and my phone - look at sig for details)

 

Could you guys help me come up with a cool name?

 

I'm afraid I'm not the most creative person in the world.

I'd suggest the name 'tanginaDIS' cause you know, CX might be the Achilles heel on that build.

It's running temps are 35degree celsius max .

To add, your budget doesn't dictate it. You have high quality and good performing components. The PSU is the heart of every rig, it can kill any component inside your rig if it wants to. Spending for a good PSU can last you several builds and many many years of peace of mind.

Really? Ok! Interesting. My friend picked out this when i built it.

Yeah you see a mixture of choices which reflect 3 people's ideas on a good computer! 2 of my friends and me.  I picked not too much but I can tell you later exactly what i picked (too many replies to reply to LOL, reply ception)

Well to be fair, This was built with 3 peoples separate ideas on what a good computer is. And all three are gamers.  Me and 2 friends originally made it (i wasn't too tech savvy at the time and its's funny cos I learned a lot from LTT videos   !

I'll come up with a name when you get an unlocked processor for your Z97 mobo.

I would have gotten unlocked except i had NO desire to overclock. And where i live that would be around 20-30% more than what I spent on the CPU.

I decided RAM (it was originally 8Gb but i upgraded to 16)

i decided keyboard

I decided mouse

I added the G930 once my G230s died.

It was originally Win7 Home Premium (not my idea)

 

Everything else was my friend's ideas.

 

I would have gotten an FX 8350, win8.1, r9 280x, etc Very different from current build.

 

 

So why a Z97 mobo? Not scrutinizing your choice, just curious about the inconsistency. 

It was a replacement for the Mobo that died before that one. Me or one of my friends stepped on the last one (which was Z87) and so i needed a new one and i was like Could use that M.2 one day. Also new features in chipset so why not.
