HTC is holding a event to reveal their next "brilliant" phone, the A9 also called Aero.

 

Leaks of the A9 hit the web a while ago, looking very much like an iPhone copy, but is it a great phone?

With profits declining, could this be the hit that HTC has been looking for? We'll have to wait and see.

It really does look like a knock off iPhone

I miss when HTC were amazing, my HTC HD2 was an insanely good phone, and the design was really top notch even compared todays phones, soft rubberised plastic, solid metal back piece, nice display, nice hardware buttons etc

I still own HTC HD2! Best phone I ever owned.

Mine broke :( but yeah it was insanely good! fast fluid, super nice build quality

I know right. Like hey look a phone that sells well. Copy the design and ours will sell well! No it could be because Apple phones don't have security flaws EVERYWHERE or they don't just brick randomly.

i still own a One M7 and it's one of the best phones i've ever used. right after i rooted it and installed some custom stuff, that is :P

was looking at the One M9+ for my next device, tough with all this stuff surrounding HTC i think i might actually go for a Samsung or something.

I know right. Like hey look a phone that sells well. Copy the design and ares will sell well! No it could be because Apple phones don't have security flaws EVERYWHERE or they don't just brick randomly.

I must have had a dud one as the battery life on my M7 was absolutely awful and caused me to buy a OnePlus One.

i had this problem with the stock ROM too, tough once i installed the GPE ROM everything seemed to be fixed. definitely a software problem that one!

right now it's running NuSenSeven, and i get about 1.5-2 days of battery when i use it normally.

Mine broke :( but yeah it was insanely good! fast fluid, super nice build quality

I bet you can still buy this phone in the UK :P I would still buy it if mine was broke :P Can always use it as secondary phone.

I used both the Stock ROM and CyanogenMod both were as bad as eachother.

I still own HTC HD2! Best phone I ever owned.

 

It really does look like a knock off iPhone I miss when HTC were amazing, my HTC HD2 was an insanely good phone, and the design was really top notch even compared todays phones, soft rubberised plastic, solid metal back piece, nice display, nice hardware buttons etc

Agreed. I still have my HD2, albeit I'm not using it. My hardware buttons (power/end call) died on me. I got it running all the way to android 4.0 and had that phone for 5 years before I replaced it last year.
