Japan Display Prototype 17" 8K Display

jeffnotgeoff

The company, Japan Display, have a crazy 17.3" IPS, 8K screen (513 ppi) which should run at an impressive 120Hz.  Now we just have to find an equally crazy setup that could do anything close to 8K 120Hz.

One 8k display is 16 4k displays. Literally no system could run that consumer grade anyway no matter the budget. We cant run 3 4k monitors yet

an i3 cause at 8k, the cpu bottleneck is non existent. dual fury xs gamed at trippl 4k at medium settings, which is slightly less intensive intensive than 8k, so low to medium should be possible.

513 ppi, I thought 400 was like the eye detection limit, what the hell is this thing

People need to stop putting arbitrary limits on the human eyes.

some people have a vision of 20/12, do you think they cant see those pixels?

Hell there's even a bionic lens that can give anyone 60/20 vision.
