Get rid of that PSU and try to squeeze in an SSD too. Anyway, the NZXT S340 is looking pretty good, I'd give that one a try :)

Please.... Do..... Not.... Buy.... CX.... PSUs.... Never.....

Get rid of that PSU and try to squeeze in an SSD too. Anyway, the NZXT S340 is looking pretty good, I'd give that one a try :)

Do you people know WHY they are not good? :)

At OP, Get something like a EVGA GS or G2, any XFX or SeaSonic PSU also works.

They are perfectly fine for a 750Ti/860K or less. Basic builds.

There are usually better options for the price bracket, but otherwise, for a build like you said it is fine.

I had a CX psu die on me a few months ago.. :3

That could be bad luck. Do you actually KNOW why? A $300 EVGA T2 1600w Could go out on someone with something as low as a pentium and R7 370.

I agree, I think "never" is a bit strong, but they really don't belong in a PC like this IMHO :)

Very low ambient temperature tolerence (30 degrees IIRC) and low quality capacitors, isn't it?

Correct! A lot of people just jump on the bandwagon and say it since everyone else does.

Also, @WesleydeGroot Look into the BeQuiet! Pure Rock, it is better then the 212 Evo for about the same price.
