Highly unlikely due to mobo compatibility and them ceasing to produce 4790k's in the future, making them rarer.

 

For instance, a 3770k costs more than a 4790k now.

Not really, here in Australia. Skylake and Haswell, are almost identical in price, I'm not sure why.

If you have an unlocked i5 it doesn't make sense to upgrade imho, but again you pretty much will just have to bite the bullet and buy it at reg price.

If you're in the US and can wait for Black Friday, I'd imagine you'd find a good deal. Last year the 4790k sold for $300 at Black Friday and the 4690k for $210.
