So everyone with anything below a 2500k, a 7970 or GTX 670 cannot play this game.

Right...

So GTX 960/R9 380.... all dead.

If you want to play, you have to pay. Oldest rule in the book.

The gpu requirements seem pretty high as a minimum considering that game really isn't anything special to look at, but it is a Ubisoft title... so it probably needs it due to poor optimization.

Edit: those make much more sense as recommended requirements.

CPU: I7 3770k @4.8 ghz | GPU: GTX 1080 FE SLI | RAM: 16gb (2x8gb) gskill sniper 1866mhz | Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LK | PSU: Rosewill Hive 1000W | Case: Corsair 750D | Cooler:Corsair H110| Boot: 2X Kingston v300 120GB RAID 0 | Storage: 1 WD 1tb green | 2 3TB seagate Barracuda|

Played it on my R9 390, runs flwless and well above 90FPS.

Tried it on 6870... says 2.2GB out of 1GB used, but is doing 35-50FPS at 1080p with mostly high settings.

UBI and their BS.

System requirements are usually oversimplified, contradictory bullshit.

Case in point: FX-8120 OR Core i5-2500K? If you actually need a 2500K, the FX-8120 is inadequate. If the 8120 is adequate, you don't need a 2500K. You can't really set up an equivalency there.

The same thing happens with the video cards. The HD 7970 and R9 280X are comparable to the GTX 680 or 770. The GTX 670 is a lower-tier, lower-performance card.

My 560 runs it just fine.

Just as it ran Witcher 3 or any other game that came out in 2015.

I think people need to just realize that they need to upgrade their PC more than once every 10 years.

A 670 is by no means a high-end card and likewise with the 2500K.

If someone doesn't have current equivalent hardware of the hardware listed above; an upgrade should (needs) be in order.

That's rich...

1. Get a decent job that pays well and you wouldn't be bitching about games with sub-par requirements.

2. You're a gamer right? Maybe next time don't skimp on your video card? You shouldn't be purchasing bottom of the barrel video cards anyway if you're not planning on upgrading every two years.

Wooh there cowboy, holster that iron before you shot your foot off. Brother has a rig worth being proud of. Bought that ticket on the hype train to Skylake and everythin. He's mad for those less fortunate.

Nobody takes "official" system requirements as truth or anything, it would be silly to take them seriously.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.

G3258 + HD 7750 ... 100% CPU usage w/o recording. 96% GPU usage on low end card. Quad core is definetly accurate. HD 7750 does the trick but that's only low settings and hits 30fps dips.

i3 or Quad core + HD 7770 / GTX 560 Ti seems more accurate as a minumum.

i3-4170, H81 board, 8GB DDR3, Crucial M4, GTX 770, Xigmatek Vangaurd Case, Creative Titanium X-fi, Razer Carcharias, 500w PSU, 24" VA panel and a 42" IPS. Thinking about getting a plant.
