best graphics card for gamming?

Can any one suggest me?  to play games on my PC at ultra high configurations but i am confused between ATI radeon and Nvidia geforce GTX. whose GPU is best for such performance and gaming & which one? and also differentiate me the both GPUs's specs and how they help. people select nvidia but some say radeon, help me plz. Suggest me the best graphics card for gaming?

The best card overall is the GTX Titan, but what is your budget? If you want great bang for the buck I recommend the AMD 7950

Specs don't matter most of the time and you want to focus more on benchmarks for whatever you want to do with it.

 

What's you situation? Are you upgrading the graphics of a preexisting system or making a new one altogether?

The best card for gaming is the Titan, the second best card is the 780, and then I guess the next I would consider because AMD upped their game with frame rating (and dropped prices) would be the 7990.

I don't think a graphics card will help you in that situation, better go with small talk instead.

if nvidia -600 and above(most probably the 700 series now) and if amd the 700 series. if you can wait for a little bit time you can (maybe) have a 9xxx series gpu.  as for my concern 700 series is good(780) and the titan.

If you have the money, the GTX 780 is a BEAST card.  Yes the Titan is better, but it is around $400 more for not that much performance gain in games.

If you can wait the 9970 might be what you're looking for, if you can’t the 780 and Titan are your best bet for single GPU gaming performance.

I doubt a 7770/7790 wouldn't have any problems with even the newest games...

A 7950 would be if you couldn't stand anything lower than high for settings.

I have an Asus 760 OC... I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great card and it's not too expensive.  A little less than $300 I think.  Anyways you could get 2 of those and SLI them together.  Also this graphics card comes with a software called GPU tweak, which allows you to very easily overclock the GPU.
