Best way to Deliver CPU

I am getting a new computer and I am going to sell my old CPU to cover out the cost. How should i package it so that it will survive delivery assuming it is coming to the US and from Singapore? Thanks for all your suggestions.

 

PS. I do not have the retail box as it is a pre built PC. The CPU is an i7 3770

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

you're going to put a CPU without any protection inside a box of peanuts? lol

 

you need to put it in a smaller box first, otherwise the peanuts are just going to move around the CPU and it will end up on the bottom of the package and easily get damaged

its how most processors are chipped but with extra plastic around them so it should be fine

 

i would stay away from packing peanuts though as they can generate static electricity, use paper as a packing material or get an antistatic bag

well, yeah, sorry, i took that for granted.
