Please title your posts with ACTUAL titles...

AstroBenny

It's rather annoying when people title their post's with one or few words such as:

"Ram?"

"New CPU?"

"PC Help."

"I NEED HELP PLEASE HELP PC won't work HELP!!

What I'm trying to say is, make your title informative. It really doesn't take much. If you include sufficient details, people can see your post and consider whether they'd be able to help you or not.

UnInformative titles are just lazy and don't help anyone when visiting forums looking for tech advice..

See you around!

Unlike the title of the book, the title of a thread should be one that gives a good introduction and basic overview of what the thread is about. Glad someone else understands.

Now ask yourself this: what happens when this thread leaves the "recent topics" board? Yup, nobody will ever see it anymore. So what did it accomplish exactIy

I just wanted to share my opinion and slight frustration.

while i completely agree, i also dont want to see overly detailed titles and then the post just saying "see title"  those are even worse...

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

A good solution would be to require a certain word count in the title before a post can be submitted.

Why does it matter? If the thread itself has enough information i could care less. I get angry when people are like : "What cpu do i get" then they tell you nothing. No budget, no "i game" or "i do video work", just what cpu should i get. Like, thanks bud. That is gonna help me help you.

Oh if only people just took the time to write a proper title... I mean it takes like 10 seconds instead of 2.
