I listen to a lot of Monstercat music, what headphones should I get?

Analysis of these two posts:

Both are stupid suggestions and one can't even spell bass correctly.

Oops I was typing fast

Something I meant to ask but forgot about, should I get some sort of AMP/DAC to go with them, or should onboard be enough since they're only 32ohm?

Mine have been fine off my phone. Only reason you'd need an amp is if you want club volume levels while listening to mozart

That's a terrible suggestion. Not only are those headphones terrible, but that "Dual Driver" thing is literally a little weighted motor that just makes the headphones shake. They're totally useless headphones for someone that wants to have good sound.

Like a Xbox or PlayStation controller.

On your head.

Or you just just go to your local classical music night club

DT 770 PROs haven't been mentioned?

edit: just saw the budget. If you're buying used they could still be an option...

For $80 you could look into the M Audio Q40, and possibly look for a pad swap to velours.
