My Teacher sucks... Here is what we do everyday. 1. Go,over homework, 2. Get More Homework and the. Class is over. She teaches is nothing...

I need help on two problems. The question is

Point A, B, and C are collinear. Point B is between A and C. Find the length indicated.

1st Question-

AC=

AC= 3x+3, AB= -1+2x

BC=11

2nd Question-

x =

AC=22, BC= x + 14

AB= x+10

Thank you! She literally is the worst teacher ever. We have a test on this stuff also... So if you could explain/help it would be greatly appreciated.

U will find university impossible if u think that that way of teaching is hard lol.

I don't think teaching nothing is a way of teaching.

 

@DarkBlade2117 Sorry I can't help, my knowledge of Geometry is almost gone, I took this class two years ago. I have a similar teacher experience this year with my Pre-Cal teacher, so I feel you.

Dude I'm in 9th grade and take all,college classes except Geometry which I'm in honors. Our teacher literally gives us the answers for homework, gives us more homework, and that's the class. We learn nothing

Yeah....even in the extended maths classes I never saw equations like that at school.

i think you use distance formula which is square root of (x2-x1) + (y2-y1)

I don't think teaching nothing is a way of teaching.

 

A university is usually, 1-2 hours of lecturing that you have to SPEED write down while understanding NOTHING. Then you go home, reread it al 5x and try to do your homework, next class there are 3 options.

1. nobody cares about your homework, next topic

2. the lector goes through the homework assignments really fast, if u did ur assignment correct, you understand and everything is fine, if you dont then to bad he went through it to fast.

3. you have a really good lector who will take time to explain to anyone who says they dont understand their homework (which is the kind of teacher u got atm lol)

2nd question, x = infinity.

There is no relation between A-B and B-C so it can be anything. I didn't fail at math but that sounds the most logic to me, and i don't understand it tbh. I don't know what collinear means so gg.

AB + BC = AC

3x + 3 + 11 = -1 + 2X

3x +14 = -1 +2x

3x + 14 +1 = -1 +1 +2x

3x +15 = 2x

3x -3x +15 = 2x - 3x

15 = -1x

15/-1 = -1x/-1

-15 = x

 

AB + BC = AC

x + 10 + x + 14 = 22

2x +24 = 22

2x + 24 - 24 = 22 - 24

2x = -2

2x/2 = -2/2

x = -1
