So, I'm 14, my brother went to Australia (Melbourne) for a year last year, finding work was easy and all, but he didn't like the people and it was too quiet for him... Anyone living in Aussie can confirm that? Because I like quiet, and I'm considering on moving into Gold Coast when I'm 18-19-20, considered Miami (I like sunny places), but it's too hard to get visa and all that stuff. Is it hard to find a job in GC? Or it's ilke the rest of australia? My english is fluent enough and will improve over the years, but the problem is, which jobs are available in GC? I can do a lot of things that are tech related, but for example, my brother only worked at bar etc. Is it all that Aussie can offer or there are jobs that are tech related (Even IT support) or jobs that do not require a dedicated degree?

Miami is in the USA. All tech jobs are taken and it will be hard to get a work visa. Gold Coast is full of bikers and you will get shot. But the rest is very nice. If you want space like have your own massive farm, you can as there is plenty of space. Also, if you want a very unique place with unique people Australia is your place

Why the Goldcost? Melbourne or Sydney have to be the best states in Australia.

Melbourne has been name the most liveable city in the world for the 5th year a row.

Depends i guess....Also Miami is at Gold Coast in Queensland if anyone is wondering....I don't really grip what you mean by quiet but i aim to move to america when im 18+. So that's my 2 cents. Also some Australians (don't know anyone who is) tend to be racist.

I do know Miami is in the USA, but the visa is kinda hard to get, while in Aussie it'll be easier since I have relatives there, while the only relatives I have are in NYC and I don't like them very much.

Yes, I know, but I want a really sunny city in Miami style etc.

I have relatives in there, it's easy to find a job, I can live in my aunt's house until I find a good place to live, it will be easier to get a Visa since I know how it works and my brother can help me with it since he did it too, economically is x10 better than Italy...

The gold coast is full of what we tend to call Bogans. Guess its ok if you're into sun, surf and a pretty boring lack of culture. This coming from someone who was born in Townsville in QLD. Pretty much a wasteland if you're into anything that isn't sports or ocean related :P
From what I've heard from my Uncle who is IT at Suncorp in Brisbane its pretty damn competitive. Though we are seemingly fond of skilled imports and we're slowly switching to a services based economy so the sector is only going to grow over the coming years.

As the others have said... Melbourne and Sydney are where you want to be if you're perhaps more interested in a more diverse mix of people and cultures. Music, art etc etc all thrive amazingly well down here in Melb so if you're into that scene it might be fun. Still fond of my time spent in the home grown progressive rock scene here. Also the best universities are in Melb and Syd to give you an idea of where the intellectual capitals are.
Sydney is kind of insane weather wise some times, big storms of late etc etc. Melbourne is pretty stable, its either cold as shit or fairly warm with the occasional couple of weeks of insane heat. As others have said, QLD is hot and sticky, and then there's the wet season...

Cost of living however is a bit high. Might want to check into that before deciding anything. Though given you're in Italy I suppose its all relative.

Well, I have relatives in Melbourne so I'll probably go there, as I can stay at my aunt's 'till I find a good house, fact is, if I can't find a Tech related job, which other jobs are available for an average person? Since I'm gonna use a Working-Holiday Visa I'll have to work in a farm, but I don't quite like it, sure, I will work 88 days in it to renew the visa, but I don't like the environment.

Honestly dunno where many jobs are available these days, being a freelancer I've basically no compass :P
One thing to consider though is that the unemployment number is pretty high at the moment compared compared to previous years here.
