It hasn't been announced that they are closing at all, its just that their accounts have been trade restricted. They have to sort it out with Valve. If they can't sort it out then they said they may closing down.

Such a massive fail, I sign up with steam, enter my email adress then when I click the button to finish settings, it puts me one step back by erasing email adress. Endlessly...= unfinishable process.

No additional info provided, does exactly that.POS :(. Some time lost there, too bad so far
