I need some opinions on these animations... i feel like they are missing something :|

It seems to walk kinda unnatural. I can't absolutly put my finger on why, but I think there is movement in the knee. This can be due to the fact that the model isn't standing up straight.

 

Edit: Rewatching it might be due to the speed of the gif, that it seems to be walking unnatural.

Edit: Rewatching it might be due to the speed of the gif, that it seems to be walking unnatural.

I think i noticed a possible issue, the Foot stays flat till it lifts to move forward... iv tweaked it to go a little more back and start curling before it lifts... move fluid

I think you are right. Making the foot curl a bit would probably make the whole animation seem more fluid.

agree on the walking part.

As for the standing, hmm maybe straighten the back little bit? cant really tell, mind posting a `shot from the sides?

i will after dinner... 

These are only Blocked animations... not the final versions xD i will be doing them 1s i have some flesh on the characters

Great work as always

 

You could use the features of blender to use motion tracking of your posture, however it is way past anything ive done so I cant comment on it's difficulty

i dont like Motion Tracking/ Capture... i find the Traditional keyframe animation has more personality

the Animation tree is ever growing at the moment... 

There is 1 node im want to get working... then the Animations are gonna be kick ass... and give me soo much work to do....

Not sure at the moment. im leaning towards a co-op/mmo game open world type thing

For now im working on the Mechanics and i want to get them right before i go anywhere with graphics/story

I'd love for it to be a co-op game because those seem to be slowly dying and I really want to be able to play a game with my friend if they come over to my house.

 

Maybe if you can add something like a single computer playing both players like how console splitscreen works but both players get their own monitor if they want.

Actualy... i could add something in like that..

Will be MultiMonitor Support, then Split Screen that puts the other player on to the other display... Would be interesting to get working.

That would amazing if you did.. I'm guessing there's some sort of library that allows Voodoo Magic like that then? I always have a hard enough time just trying to get programs to believe that displays are real things since a lot of the time the program doesn't really know what a monitor is and just spits out info and it kind of grabs it and displays it.

During Testing the servers will be capped to around 64 people and be hosted by me or other users.

Sounds very cool, and if you can actually get all of this to work it might just be the most amazing game ever created.

For now i want to just step stone everything, get all the Mechanics working how i want them, Get you guys to test them and polish everything as much as possible, then weapons working and balanced, then we can see how things fair on a small server.

 

Issue i have is if the game goes MMO it might feel disconnected and bloated

Camera is Finally fully working :D

The Camera now Rotates around the play when Idle, and moves in the direction of the Camera when WASD is pressed.

1/2 more things to add but im feeling awesome i got this working today :D

How many hours per day are you spending on this project? cause it looks like yer pumping out updates like the clappers

i'm getting in to it allot more.

 

i work from 9am to 4pm then do Project till i get stuck or crash out :|

So id say im doing anything from 3-7 hours a day on it at the moment.

On top of the Last post... iv managed to get the Jog and Sprint working.

Iv got it setup as:

Shift = Jog

Shift + SpaceBar = Sprint

... it wasn't easy :| first time iv freestyle programming.

 

Im Planning to set it up so when you press spacebar when walking/idle you jump
